Tom's Midnight Garden 65th Anniversary Edition

Tom gets shipped off to his aunt and uncle's cramped flat because his brother has the measles, and there's nothing to do there — no garden, no other kids, not even a proper bedtime. Then one night the old grandfather clock in the hall strikes thirteen, and Tom gets up to see what's behind the back door.
