Who runs this

Austin's Book Nook is a family project. The books are picked and written up by Austin, who is in 6th grade. The site itself — the domain, the hosting, the accounts and any affiliate registration — is owned and operated by her father, who is also the contact for everything on this page.

What the recommendations are

One reader's opinion, offered honestly. Every book listed is one she finished. Grade bands and difficulty are her judgement about who a book suits, not a rating, a certification, or a guarantee about content. You know your child; use this as a starting point, not a clearance.

Suggestions

Suggesting a book gives us permission to read it and, if it goes on the site, to write about it in Austin's own words. Nothing you send is published. Every suggestion is reviewed by an adult before it affects anything. Don't send anything personal — the form doesn't want it and we don't keep it.

Covers and metadata

Cover images and book details come from Open Library and Google Books and are shown alongside editorial commentary. If you hold rights in a cover and want it removed, email hello@austinsbooknook.com and it will be taken down.
