I'm in 6th grade in Georgia, and I read a lot. Like, a lot. I'm a library ambassador at my school, which means I get there early once a week to help other kids find books to check out. This site is the same thing, except you don't have to be at my school.
Counting the ones I didn't like. Those just don't get a page.

How I decide what goes on here
Every single book on this site is one I actually finished. Not one I heard about, not one that looked good. If it's here, I read it.
My all-time favorites. If you only read one thing I say, read these. There aren't many and that's the point.
Definitely worth your time. Most of the site is this, and there is nothing wrong with that.
I liked it, and it's right for the right person. Sometimes that person is you and not me.
“Who’s it for”
Grades 3–4, 5–6, or 7–8. It's a guess about who'll like it most, not a rule. Read up. Read down. Nobody is checking.
“How hard is it”
One dot is breezy, three is chewy. I try to think about a normal kid in that grade, not me.
If it says I read it twice
Then I really did read it twice. That one isn't an opinion, it's just a fact, and honestly it's the best thing I can tell you about a book.
Books I didn’t like
I keep track of those too, but I don't put them on here. Somebody worked really hard on every one of those books, and just because I didn't finish it doesn't mean you won't love it. This is a place for books I'm telling you to read, not a place to complain.
