The Phantom Tollbooth

Milo is a boy who thinks everything is boring, until a mysterious tollbooth shows up in his room one afternoon and he drives his toy car straight through it. On the other side are places like the city of Dictionopolis, where words are sold at market, and a watchdog with a real ticking clock in his side who becomes his traveling companion.
