The four Penderwick sisters want a summer where nobody gets in trouble, which is hard when you're renting a cottage on a huge estate with a very strict owner and a bull that does not like Batty. Between Rosalind's lists, Skye's temper, Jane's soccer stories, and a boy named Jeffrey who lives in the big house, the rules get broken pretty fast.
